The name TH Group was derived as an abbreviation from "Tung Hup" which in Cantonese means "East" and "Co-operation" respectively. The Tung Hup Group fundamentally represents the core group, which was involved in the restructuring of Union Paper Holdings Berhad and from which sprung the new entity. TH Group’s corporate logo reflects a synergy between its core business activities of plantation, contracting services including land clearing, infrastructure and civil works; technology and healthcare against a backdrop of stability and growth. While each business operates as a separate element, but together they forge a prosperous alliance.
